Yesterday saw the inspector come and go without signing off on the first floor support system inspection because the piling contractor had accidentally taken the stamped drawings with him to his next job! The inspector is expected to return this morning. Also, Progress Energy lost the job ticket to hook up the construction power pole and they are scheduled to come today.
The retaining wall contractor was able to get a good deal done toward completion of the wall that now extends around the driveway entrance to the parking area under the house and across the front of the parking area. The low wall in front will provide a convenient sitting place for oyster roasts!
